Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan starrer Srimanthudu has become 2nd biggest movie of the year after Baahubali. In just three days it broke records of Attarintiki Daaredi which had collected Rs. 47.27 crore in seven days. Srimanthudu has collected Rs. 130 crores worldwide in just 5 days.

The Telugu movie grossed over Rs. 60Crore worldwide on it's opening weekend, It has continued its dream run at theatres in the fifth day too. Due to bandh, many theatres started the shows at 1 pm on Tuesday, 11 August, but exhibitors ensured that the film had four shows in the day.

In the four days, the distributors' share was close to Rs. 31 crore from Andhra Pradesh. The early estimation says that it added another Rs. 3.54 crore to take its total tally to Rs. 34.5 crore. The total gross and net collection reports are not out as yet.
