Baahubali Headache for Bajrangi Bhaijaan?

Baahubali is performing much better than expected, it have collected 153Crores on Worldwide Box Office in just 3 days (opening weekend). Baahubali is getting very positive response & reviews, Even many of reviewers have rated it 5/5. So, the question is will Baahubali be a headache for Salman's upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan?

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is about to get released on July 17th & we heard that Bajrangi Bhaijaan might not get enough numbers of screens because of Baahubali! SS Rajamouli directorial is already generating a huge collection & some of multiplexes are reported saying they won't remove Baahubali even for Bajrangi Bhaijaan if the collections continue to grow!

Says an exhibitor from Bihar, “We are taking I Love NY  off from screens, it’s a disaster, and we’re replacing it with Baahubali. The opening has surprised us all. Never before has a dubbed South Indian film scored so high at the Box Office.”

Lets see what happens till this friday? Will Baahubali keep performing like this? Will Bajrangi Bhaijaan Get good number of screens? What do you say guys? Comment Box is open...

Baahubali - The Beginning Movie Review

Baahubali - The Beginning Movie Review

 Rating : 5/5 Star (5 Stars)

Star Cast : Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty

Direction : SS Rajamouli

Story Line : Baahubali is story about two Royal brothers with a lot of suspense & even the end is another beginning!

What's Good : Perfect Story, Perfect Screen play & perfect Visual effects ! Just Every Actor have performed their roles very perfectly. Story line keeps you engaged till end. I can say it is the movie which would make you think if there was a king like SS Rajamouli in India earlier than none of Foreigners would have ever attacked on India & could never win against India. The epic director have did his Job very well. Music is also very good in comparison to other hindi dubbed south movies. Its a new era of Indian cinema with a touch of Hollywood like battles.

What's Bad : A lot of suspense! Director was already making it exciting from the day he started shooting for it & now after showing us the movie he still excites us. We can't wait for the next part! Dying to see the Conclusion of Baahubali. Most of Bollywood lovers won't be happy with the songs.

Our Opinion : It is a must watch for everyone. If you don't like south Indian movies, or if you like only romantic-comedies or something than this movie will change your mind. You will become a big fan of Prabhas & SS Rajamouli & this will make you think If The Beginning have done this much than what will The Conclusion do?

"Baahubali was made six years ago in Rajamouli's head" - Rana Daggubati

"Baahubali was made six years ago in Rajamouli's head" - Rana Daggubati

He made his Bollywood debut four years back with Dum Maro Dum (2011) and made an instant impression. Very recently, he played an integral part of Akshay Kumar's Baby and his hunky persona was on display all over again. In an impressive silent act, Rana showed once again that when it came to occupying the screen space with his mighty physique, he was the man for the job. No wonder, director S.S. Rajamouli identified this persona much earlier and signed him up for Baahubali as good as three years back. Now that their dream film is set to be unleashed on the big screen, Rana is excited as expected.

It has been for more than a year since we have been interacting on Baahubali. Now that its promo is out, how do you see the film justifying the hype surrounding it?
It has been an all-around terrific reception for us so far. Yes, while I have been talking to you for a year and a half on the film, my association with the film goes back three years. So understandably it is quite a satisfying feeling to see the film being ready for audience consumption. What excites me is that the film would be seeing such a large release across different parts of the country.

As an actor, when you are a part of the film, you know that it is indeed being a big affair. However, were you too caught by surprise when you saw the final product with VFX, background etc.?
I will tell you something. We recently did a test watch in IMAX, Hyderabad with just five-six of us who are connected to the film. Though I had seen a few scenes during the edit and knew the story inside out, the day I saw it in IMAX format, it was a spell binding experience. I have seen films like Troy and 300, and when I saw myself in something similar, I was thrilled to the core. This genre itself asks for bigness. I have grown up on Amar Chitra Katha and tales of Mahabharata. To get something like that on celluloid is epic.Baahubali is India's first war film. It is of course mind-blowing to be a part of such a historic event.

In a way, how tough was it to actually live S.S. Rajamouli vision right from the very inception of the film?
(Pauses) When I look back, it all sounds so very difficult now. I had no idea how it would be to begin with. However, Rajamouli is extremely clear and precise about what he wants. Three years back when he gave me the story, he also gave me a 15 page write-up on the back-story so that I gain entire understanding of wealth and power that we are talking. I was made aware of the relationship that my character had with my siblings and parents. So technically, the film was made six years ago in Rajamouli's head. It is only now that it is coming on screen.
